Probably all of the droputs used by Colnago except for the Shimano ones were made by Italian supplier Tecnociclo who made them for Campagnolo and make all of the ones that have the Columbus and bicycle frame builders' names on them. Colnago and Campy got their dropouts the same way that Taco Bell gets tortillas--they put in an order with a factory that makes them.
