Subject: [CR]TA 3 pin Chainrings

Neill Currie asked about obtaining rings for the TA Professional 3 arm crank.

TA still makes rings for these so it is not a matter of necessarily finding old stock.

Mike Barrie at bikespecialities.com has them in stock. I bought a 36 T last summer. Somehow in the CDN/US exchange rate/distribution scheme Mike's prices are very reasonable for TA.

Sheldon Brown could probably order them.

Also these rings fit many older cranksets so you can update cranks to alloy rings, triples etc. Changing a Campagnolo Sport crankset over to a half step plus a 36T granny triple using TA rings is a very nice (and economical) alternative to hunting down the Nuevo Record triple.
