: [CR]84 Masi Grand Criterium

Hey, folks... I think this one appeared here, on the list. Being inexperienced with the Masi marque, I'm wondering what y'all think of the $1535 price this example brought...?

http://ebay.com/<blah>

I'm a bit intimidated re: bidding on Masi's... but maybe I'll learn. I *do* remember lusting in my heart for a Volumetrica framset back in the 70's, when I had long hair <and hair on top>, a leaner body, and alas, a much leaner wallet. My good old PX10E was all I could afford.

The price paid for this Masi is not that much higher than some others sold in the recent past. There was one that sold for $2400 a few months back, I believe was an Italian made bike. There is a very nice mid 70's GC up for auction now that should bring close to that price, maybe higher. Good examples with original paint and components are very desirable and fetch high prices.
