Stevan reminds me, I have a Stump shifter braze-on too, of the aero type where the shifters are set close to each other on top of the DT instead of on the sides of the tube. A bit out of the spirit of CR if not the years, but interesting.

I'd also like to take this opportunity to mention: in case y'all haven't thought of it, nice frame bits can be saved when a frame is wrecked. If you should (heaven forbid) destroy your beloved Hetchins or Stump, don't throw it away! Let it be an organ donor! Mention that it's available (on this list is a good place), for the cost of shipping maybe, and perhaps someone will want to unbraze some parts and re-use them. The thought of a Stump dropout being thrown away causes me great anguish; I have to go lie down now.
