Hi All,

I'm fairly new to the CR list and this is my first time posting. I've really been enjoying the topics being discussed here!

Regarding the Della Santa frame on e-bay, Dale mentioned that the frame did not have a tapering downtube. As a Della Santa owner myself, I know that Roland sometimes uses a tapering downtube with I believe a 28.6 dia. at the headtube and a 31.7 dia. at the bottom bracket. I have seen such a downtube at it is very subtle in its tapering.

Regarding the fork crown, the seller mentioned something about an extra long fork crown for greater stiffness or something to that affect. I think the seller was refering to the tongs (sp?) on the inside of the fork crown.
