Hello Chris,

This is anecdotal evidence only. I remember they used to come on atala Grand Prix with a 14-28 rear and 40-52 front. The shifting is fairly poor but probably better than a huret alvit or Schwinn approved gt 100 (who made that thing?). I use my Valentino as a chain tensioner on a single speed mountain bike. It seems to do that fairly well. Hopes this is of some help.
