Letseehere, differences... hummmmmm... about thirty years worth of engineers, dreamers and everyone in-between trying to improve on a hundred plus year old concept, with some of the improvements being total BS and some totally real. Did I leave something out?

I might add that one ride (on a 2002 bike) is worth waaaaay over a thousand words on their differences!
