Regarding Bivalent hubs, does the skewer work as a cam type QR or is it a tommy bar sort of thing? Also, to remove a rear wheel, I'd assume the skewer has to be entirely unscrewed and withdrawn (in order to leave the fwheel block on the frame). Maybe not so quick and a high price to pay (figuratively) to have interchangeable wheels; is this why they never really caught on?
