Really? I never noticed that at all. Was that visible in the pics? I am curious as they seemed so.. correct! The wheel set looked NOS or if not, barely used. But I had never seem another set before finding those so I was not alert to that detail, if an accurate assessment. . Can anyone confirm this? I posted a pretty large pic of the dust caps here:

I don't see any Campagnolo inscription on those dust caps and they seem to be sized accurately to the axles....

Experts on these wheels please look and tell me if they had been "adulterated/modified" (I don't like the sound of that!!!)
