I have a set of Mavic hub wheels, 32 spokes, 3 cross with Mavic GL330 sew up
rims that were recently listed on ebay and I'd like to offer them to the list
before they go back. The hubs are super smooth, the rims are straight and
true, although the rear shows some wear in the hard anodizing at the
ferrules. I just rebuilt the non-freewheel side of the rear (due to a
defective spoke) with DT butted 14 gauge stainless spokes to match the rest
of the wheelset. The spokes on the rear wheel were gone over with an electric
bass pick and checked for tone, after lots of revolutions on my custom wheel
stand with dial indicators checking both directions for straight and true.
Needless to say, it is properly dished. The front needed no attention. No
skewers. $80 plus shipping.
