Mike got those lugs from Grant as long as he promised to modify them slightly - they are used on all of the 30th Anniversary bikes that Mike has made including my Rando 26" wheel bike and Doug Brooks' similar 650B bike.

I was with Mike at the shop when Didi won - Michael Jr. was calling Mike every few minutes for an update off the internet on the computer at Mike's shop. On the last lap Didi was left off a breakaway (at least that was the report on the computer), and Mike responded with thinking that a top 10 finish in a world cup was great for someone who has "retired". Then he just about fell off his chair when the next report stated Didi won!

Doug B and I saw that frame a month or so ago, and debated with Mike what colors the decals should be to compliment the frame and fork color. Who would have thought?

Cheers,

Larry Strung
