Perhaps the way I asked my question is confusing. My question didn't have to do with reliability of Ren-Cycles, which I agree has been established. It was mostly about the functionality of the order page. When I submitted my order, I didn't get a 'success' message on the web, just a white screen with some words in dutch. I believe the order page suggests that one would get a confirmation of the availability and shipping charges before the goods are sent. I was hoping to elicit info on whether people knew if something was amiss with the web page or if BC was travelling or something. I sent email to him right after I tried to place my order, but if he is swamped or travelling and someone here knew that, ...

Classic bike content for this email? Well, the parts I'm hoping to buy would fit that bill, and would go on an '82 Trek that I'll be riding in my 2nd double century of the summer. I recently did the Davis Double on this Trek. I was expecting to be on one of the very few steel, or vintage bikes on the ride, but not so. Even though I was way outnumbered, there were several otherlugged, steel bikes of older vintage on that ride. I couldn't help thinking though that while on that ride it was almost 20 years to the day when I had taken delivery of that bike.
