Neill and all,

It means roughly "Take a Part or Separable". It is also a Model of Rene Herse.. I'm so fortunate to own and enjoy one of those.

"Demontable" also used in England occasionally. I have heard Alex Moulton mention the "Demontable Feature(?)" referring to a number on things on his bikes including frame separation (a feature and benefit of many of but not all of his machines ).

On the Original Space Frame Moulton (AM7) it had a "Demontable Bracket" that held the shift lever and rear brake cable stop(?) and was removed from the front of the frame and bolted to a special brazed on boss on the rear of the frame when the bike was split into for transport.

List member Mike Self sold me a Moulton with this feature at the Cirque last year. Kinda cool.
