Subject: [CR]FS: early 60s? Chrome Cinelli

A friend has asked me to sell his early 60s (according to him. I don't know for a fact) chrome Cinelli. It is the model with fender clearance and eyelets. Has a drop bolt for the Campy long reach brake to reach the rear rim. The frame was rechromed and redecalled by Cyclart about 10 years ago, and is very nice except for a couple spots on the top tube where corrosion has come through, and some scratched seat tube decals. The decals could easily be replaced since it is a totally chrome frame. The parts are 70s Campy NR, not necessarily correct for the age of the frame, but nice looking and totally functional. Sew-up wheels, Brooks B-17, Campy steel pedals. Frame size is 60 cm center to center, with a 59 cm top tube. Cinelli VIP old logo 66-38 bar and new logo 9.5 cm 1/R stem (curious because they came together), black leather covered. A good looking and functional bike to ride, not a concours bike. I will have pictures posted tomorrow hopefully Email me directly if interested. $1600 to CR list before I put it on ebay. I'll be out of town Thurs thru Sunday but will get back to you Monday if not tomorrow.

Thanks
