Sorry Matt but this is another myth about the modern cycling industry. Sorry to add to this thread but I'm really tired of hearing how "everything is drying up" or "you just can't get those anymore." If you can get NOS 4-speed freewheels from the early 50s, you should have no problems finding an 8-speed cassette. I have no problems finding 6 and 7 speed too. If nothing else have your freind look on Ebay or MTBR there's a few dozen everyday. Anyway if nothing else Sunrace still produces them new.
