Let me be the first to say those are fine pads for actually stopping a bike. If you want a bike that looks "original" wait for some Campagnolo pads. If you want brakes that work better than "original" these are your ticket.

Also Kool Stop is bringing some wonderful things to US markets. The Like-A-Bike is a wonderful "lightwight" and I wish I had had one <http://www.koolstop.com/Like-A-Bike/index.html>, plus they're bring in one of the coolest oldest lightweights around the Pedersen <http://www.koolstop.com/pedersen/pedersen.html>.

No mater how they spell it Kool Stop is cool. enjoy, Brandon"monkeyman"Ives Dreaming of a sling-seat fixed gear and tandem in Santa Barbara, Calif.
