Here's my explanation: The Campagnolo Paris-Roubaix derailleur was named after Fausto Coppi's victory in the 1950 Paris-Roubaix race. But the derailleur was introduced before 1950. So what was it called before that? Anyone? It was the "single lever racing changer" (but in Italian). And the Cambio Corsa was then refered to as the "double lever racing changer" (Cambio Corsa = Racing Changer).

The Cyclo was called something else before they changed the name to Super Olympic in 1948.
