Semi-off topic, but lamp users who don't use handlebar bags should try the Schwinn-style headlight brackets that clip around the quill of the handlebar stem. Bonus--don't tighten the lamp to total rock-solidity and when riding on the tops of the bars you thus have an easy high/low beam adjustment. Works best with the older big, flattish Union headlamps.
