The Astra TDF was a bike onto itself, who knows maybe it was manufactured by
Motobecane, but certainly was not a Motobecane model, or identical to one.
When I was a kid, those things were real popular, had the foil decals like a
lot of French bikes, Gitane,Mercier, etc. I wanted one real bad, we had the
old style bike shop, packed with French bikes, they sold them, along with the
Pugeot, and Mercier. I would love to have one now, actually.
