My understanding is that his son is now building the bikes, just as Masi's son is (though the name rights are more confused in the Masi case) and as Singer's son-in-law? builds Singers. Having the bikes continue in production, particularly by a close family member who was presumably trained by the original builder, probably reduces the perceived scarcity factor which is one thing that leads to high prices.
