Subject: [CR]Large chainrings

Steve,

BTW, the largest production chainring I've ever seen was hanging on the wall at Velo Sport in Berekely way long time ago. It was even Campagnolo! Did anyone else see the same 70!!! tooth track chainring I saw; or am I dreaming? That was in the early 70's and I seem to remember it was one of the "older" heavy type rings made for track use on a "stayer" bike. Something tells me that that particular chainring was the origin of my large chainring fetish. As a matter of fact, I'm sure of it. I can safely blame Peter Rich. I feel much better now.........

Brian Baylis La Mesa, CA Some day I'm gonna find that Moby Dick chainring, and then I want to be buried with it. That 70 T campagnolo track would do the trick.
