No, when SR came out, they used the Record (NR) caliper. Both brakesets were changed in 1983 or so to reflect the new profile of the Anniversary group. These so-called script logo calipers were modifed to become Cobaltos as a stop gap while the C-rec delta was sorted out. In some sense it never was, so the Cobaltos hung around. Victory looked like the others, but had a simple GS style QR. All script logo calipers were the same shortish reach, while the earlier block logos came in two reaches (actually 3 reaches IMHO). I thought the SR brake caliper arm had a different (more ridged) profile than the Record (now commonly called NR) caliper. It (the ridge) is the profile used on final gen SRs, the Cobaltos, Triomphes, and (I think) the Anniversary brakes.
