Way back in the late 1980's we got mail from 3M or some associated entity stating that Fastack was not intended for bike tires. We figured they got wind of this unorthodox use and went into CYA mode. But just a few weeks later a customer came in with a rolled tire that we had just glued on with Fastack. We had never had a problem before. It made me think that 3M may have changed the formula, and knowing that it had been used for tires, realized that it would no longer by suitable for for this use. I never used it again. People still do.
