Hi Tom, Assuming that you have the "610" version of the venerable Weinmann centerpulls, you can get more brake reach by changing to the "750" version. This has considerably more reach, and ought to comfortably accomodate 700C rims. They weren't quite as common as the 610, but should be available from the usual sources. To be honest, I would have thought that the bike was designed with 700C tubulars in mind. Or was this the touring version?
