I finally got around to looking at that Ebay auction for the Campy HiLo hub. It hurts to look at the lacing on the small flange hub.

Building a HiLo hub requires PATIENCE!!! You have to bend the spoke with a very large radius in order to properly lace the small flange side. Lacing same size flanges can be interesting, but when they are different, it becomes real fun. You don't need to kink the spoke, just bend it into a crescent shape, insert it, then gently bend it back straight. As you tension the wheel, the spoke will straighten out.
