Brad, thanks for the info. I've only received a couple of responses (special thanks to Sarah Gibson for ID'ing the cranks as Stronglight 104 and for donating original crank bolts for its restoration). The best I can tell, it's not a true PXN10 "Super Competition" but rather a Euro-spec PKN10. The Euro model seems to get 531 3 main tubes forks while the US version only has 531 3 main tubes. All the components with date codes are from early to mid 1979 which agrees with my hunch as to it's year of manufacture (late '79 or early '80). I'll post a photo of the bike once I get it cleaned, inspected, and re-assembled. Anyone know where I can get a pair of crank bolt dust caps and a 42T chainring for a Stronglight 104 crank? Kansas may be "flat" but my vintage legs won't push the vintage 45x24 up some of the hills we have here, hence my need for a 42.
