Subject: [CR]Who built this U.K. track bike?

OK, so I'm on Ebay about 3 weeks ago and I see what is reputed to be a Holdsworth track frame and fork, 1960's vintage, on Ebay with about three minutes to go before the auction ends. No photos, no bids and it's at 30 Pounds Sterling (about $45). OK, so I take a flyer and buy the item, as it's in the U.K. and I already have another bike coming over from the U.K. in a few weeks, so shipping two bikes isn't that much more than shipping one. Hey, in theory, I had it all worked out and it sounded pretty good.

Norman Kilgariff, who has the Holdsworth site on the Internet, now informs me that the serial number's aren't Holdsworth at all. So what might I have? On the underside of the bottom bracket is stamped "3258L". On the non-drive side bottom bracket lug/opening, where the chainstay attaches to the bottom bracket, is stamped "514". Can anyone please help identify this bike? Perhaps some of the CR members from the U.K. might be able to help? I'd appreciate any advice etc., as this bike may indeed turn into a dog that bites. Thanks.
