Another French bike not commonly seen is the "Sutter." I have one and even sent Dale pics for his website (Dale - will they ever be posted??). The build of the frame is nice by French standards. Reynolds531db throughout with nice long point Prugnat lugs, nice lugwork - not sloppy at all and a nice robbins egg blue paint job with the usual 1/2 chrome forks and stays. Tasteful decals too. Ideale 90 saddle, Simplex seatpost, Stronglight 93 crankset, Simplex Criterium rear and Super Competition parralellogram front, Normandy Luxe Comp hubs, Mafac Competition brakeset. Never rode her as she was to small for me and no takers when offered for sale as a complete bike so I stripped her of her parts; used some, sold some. I still have the frameset hanging proudly in my basement along with a multitude of other more common French bicycles.
