Hi Eric, Stella seemed to me to be one of the better French bikes (at the time, 70s), in that, they were Columbus, the head angle wasn't too steep, and they didn't have too much fork rake, so they actually steered around corners instead of scaring you to death! My recollection was they came a couple of ways: all Campy or Stronglight (cranks) and various French bits. IMHO, Campy bits were best, but any period French bits would be completely appropriate.
