Nice! I'll bet those are Takahashi fork crowns, model HNR, stands for "Hitachi Nagasawa Road" since they were cast by Hitachi (super high quality), and the style was developed for or by Nagasawa, who probably didn't order enough of them to qualify for an exclusive contract. (Nagasawa was (is?) mostly known for track bikes, which of course used the HNT crown.) Obviously very similar to the De Rosa crown and maybe other Italian knockoffs too, but I think I can still pick out an HNR.

I built dozens, maybe hundreds of forks with that crown, and it's the crown on my #1 road bike. Wish I had a few more. Anyone know if they're still around? (I've been out of the bike biz for a few years and don't have any wholesale contacts)
