I'm parting out a '60's Peugeot PX10 and want to transfer the Stronglight 63 crankset to a Hetchins. Will the spindle will work in the English BB? I know I will have to change both cups. Also, does anyone have Stronglight English cups to sell or trade?
Second, I don't have a Stronglight crank puller. I recall that the Park "universal" puller, will strip Stronglight threads. Anyone have an old Stronglight Puller for sale? (or if in SF Bay Area/ Monterey, Santa Cruz area, a tool to loan?
Third, do Shimano and Phil Wood splined cartridge BB rings accept the same tool for removal?
