Here's what I'd do to that beautiful Woodrup.:

1. Yeah, lose the fender (mudguard) especially if you didn't get the front. If ever you did want fenders, get the SKS/Esge chrome set.

2. Lose the foam grips and the cheesey brake levers. Cloth tape with non-aero levers. Cables and tape in red would be very cool. Clear shellac on the tape.

3. Brooks saddle, B17, definitely in honey color.

4. Pedals? See http://www.classicrendezvous.com/France/Lyot_Berth.htm for the Lyotard "Marcel Berthet" #23. Class touring pedal of it's day.

5. Crankset could be changed to a TA "Cycletourist" for a triple: <http://www.classicrendezvous.com/France/TA_CycloT.htm>. Again the class touring item of its day.
