Subject: [CR]Report on Monthly Bay Area Ride

Our monthly Bay Area Ride today attracted a smaller than usual crowd. Special mention goes to Guy Apple for being most in keeping with our theme for the day, sporting a wool Cinelli jersey and riding a Cinelli and to Terry Shaw for doing the ride in a fixed-gear track bike plus riding to and from home to the meeting place of 10 miles each way.

In attendance were: - Guy Apple in the above mentioned wool Cinelli jersey on an absolutely gorgeous early seventies Cinelli (Silver, of course) that is perfect in every way. - Terry Shaw, long time racer and bike shop owner on a Holdsworth fixed-gear track bike. - Brad Stockwell in a Zeus jersey riding a mid-seventies Zeus with all Zeus components. What a holely sight to behold. - Giani Bongiorno on a SR equipped Colnago who promised to ride his pre-war track bike next time. - Jim Narlesky on a beautiful blue Mercian. - Felix Chiu on an early sixties Bianchi Specialissima.

Notably absent regulars were Jan and Peter Johnson who are probably still recovering from over indulging on the good food and wine on their recent European trip, Dave Martinez (bring Linda next time), John Watkins and Jim McCoin (get well soon, we missed you).

Watch this list for next month's Bay Area Ride. All bikes in keeping with the CR list is welcome.
