The bikes from the bay area I assume are all from Grant Handley, perhaps the worlds largest dealer of Rene Herse bikes.

Grant travels to france to find his items. Over the years he has aquired some of the rarest and most desirable items.

He has obtained the items through much hard work and many long trips overseas. Grant is often quite willing to sell items outside of ebay - his items are not inexpensive but are priced to reflect their scarcity. One can actually call him up at times and go "shopping" for the rarest of the rare. I've picked up some great items from him over the years - items that simply might never have turned up without his searching.
