Sears sold a variety of ten-speeds under the "Free Spirit" label. Some were absolute crap with frame tubes pinched onto stamped dropouts, and you wondered if they were even joined with a tack weld. These made most of the current K-Mart stuff look good by comparison. However, for a breif time I think they may have had some much better European made stuff, maybe even a 531 model as claimed. I sure wouldn't bid without seing the bike or some good photos, though.
