Kurt,

There are plenty of Cinellis built with Reynolds 531 tubes; most often reynolds main tubes and columbus forks and stays or Falck in same.

Rifling of Columbus steerers goes way further back than SLX/SPX introduction. Never seen a Columbus steerer without it actually regardless of how old.

Any chance you can determine if the Reynolds decal said "3 frame tubes 531" or if it said "butterd tubes, forks, and stays" on the decal?

That's a "GF" in the bb casting which is George Fisher company of Swiss origin, maker of the bb shell.

I have a Cinelli or two or three here right now that have the bosses for fender mounting on the bridges and dropouts. I'm painting a genuine pair of Cinelli fenders for one of them as we speak. You'll see it at Larz.

You will find that Cinellis come in a tremendous varity of ways insofar as tubing selections, colors, and chrome packages. Quite a selection plus custom orders also including no decals or no headbadge!
