Hi Peter and all, I saw something similar sell for around this same price listed in the ad on ebay earlier this year. Remember, if you don't like the price, don't buy it or make an offer. The market dictates simply what people will pay. I recently saw a Classic Bianchi which was identical to one I had, entry level, valentino components, nervar cottered crankset, etc. It was selling on ebay with a bid over $100 I believe. I couldn't pay someone to take the one I had! I ended up parting with mine outside of ebay and outside this list for far less to someone I found that would appreciate it for what it was...a classic bike he liked. times change and prices change.
