I know people that have mortgaged their home, cashed in retirement accounts, and plundered their kids college funds.

One of the reasons I got out of fat-tire bike (I personally preferred middle weights) was the cutthroat nature of the crowd. Though they did have a lot more get together, swaps, and conventions. I would recommend to anyone on the list to go to a fat-tire get together or a Wiz-in because you will learn something. (cut) ------------------------

Disney pin collecting is almost at the level that beanie babies was in its heyday. When one of the pin collectors comments that maybe their collecting is out of hand another collector will ask, "You still have your house? Oh, then you don't have a problem!"

I used to go to Wiz-ins (motorized bicycle collectors) and would always find a lightweight racing bike part or two, and no other people looking for the stuff I was trying to find. Good place to look once in a while...
