FYI/FWIW, "Wanker" was Peg Bundy's maiden name on "Married With Children" -- different, uh, standards (almost said ... well, never mind). It's used often enough on "The Simpsons" as well. You can always count on FOX ;-)

Classic content -- I have a lower-end Torpado frame that lacks a rear derailleur hangar. The rear dropouts are chromed but are cheap-looking, presumably stamped, with shallow humps drilled for fenders or racks. Fork blades & stays chromed about 6 inches. The (long-point) head lugs are chromed, and it has brazed-on stops for the rear brake cable, but no other braze-ons. I'm told it's probably from the late 60s or early 70s. It's good fixed/SS/internal gearing material, but I wonder what derailleur it might have used originally? Gran Sport? Something larger and heavier (with a claw, of course)? Columbus tubing; sticker is gold/w red in inverted triangle. It's a kind of olive-y green, like Pontiac Bonnevilles used to be around 1967 ... Quite nicely made, too. Musta been Tuesday ...

Thanks folks, Dennis Ryan Louisville KY Just finishing up shellacking the Phillipe bars of my Allegro Special -- amber shellac on yellow tape, emerald green over full chrome bike, honey B-17, white Bluemel's Club Specials, and a very pleasing total effect ...
