Regarding other plugs, I have a Campagnolo steel seat post that has a cork in the top of it (inserted from the bottom and pushed all the way up) that looks original. Seems like a good idea for keeping foreign matter and water out, even if it was added later. Does anyone know if these were plugged by Tullio?
