Marc, It came that way, I bought it used. It also had been tapped for an adjuster(bummer), but it is one of me nicer looking SR Ders. I have several different looking rear ders. in a shadow box on the wall in my workshop area. Included are the 2 SR, 1 NR, 1 980, 1 Galli Criterium, a pair of Ofmega nylon(pink of course), a Croce de Aun and a later (8sp) C-Record. Sprinkle in a few Simplex Retro friction shifters and a Campy Hi-Lo hub, it makes an interesting display. Most of it is NOS or very good condition. I guess I could pay rent if I needed to buy Ebaying the group.

Garry,

I seriously doubt your '84 Campy alloy pivot is original to that '84 r. der. What's the story? Did you change it out or did you buy it used that way? Not trying to accusatory, just curious.
