I have a 1970 Paramount track bicycle which is complete except for a rear wheel. I also own a 1970 Paramount road bike. Both bikes have 120mm rear axle spacing.
My question is whether I could put my road wheel, which has a 5 speed cluster, on the back of the track bike for an occasional ride
I know I need to eventually acquire the right rear wheel for the track bike. Meanwhile I would like to enjoy it. Has anyone tried the option I'm suggesting?
On the subject of John Howard's track bike, the seat post height does look correct for his size. I can't imagine why he would buy a bike that small!
