Hi all, My Dad picked up one of these somewhere, sometime years ago. My paternal side is Slovak, so maybe he was drawn to it. My Dad passed away in June, and my Mom asked me if there way anything of his I wanted. Of course I said his bike. The Favorit has Eastern Block repro everything...even the alloy rims are Super Champion reproductions. The next time I'm back in Connecticut, I plan on bringing back the bike. My Dad was never big on cycling. He couldn't figure out the shaved legs, etc., back in my racing days. One of my favorite memories was winning a local race on a lucky breakaway, then finding out my Dad had come to watch without telling me. I hope everyone has such fond memories on their bikes.
