I still have not had occasion to examine an older frame with grease fittings. It appears that two of these H.R. Morris frames have a grease fitting on the bottom bracket and on the headset. But only one each. There are of course two sets of bearings. What was the intention here; to fill the whole bottom bracket with grease? The headset/headtube too? I really don't want to start a debate on if it was a good idea (a la Campy hubs). Just want to know how this was done back in the day. Thanks.
