From Bicycling Magazine, July 1979, "Eddy Borysewicz: From Poland with Knowledge," an interview with Eddy B. by Denise de la Rosa:

"Q. What kind of bikes do the Russians use? A. The Russians are riding Colnagos now, but they used to ride CNC. The Russians used to import a lot of CNC. The national team used to ride on these bicycles and now they use Colnagos. They also have a lot of Cinellis and Masis too. On the road they all used to ride on CNC. The track bicycles were Cinelli and Masi. The Italian bicycles however are in vogue now so almost all the bicycles the Russians use are Italian. Q. What kind of equipment do the Polish riders use? A. The Poles have always used Campagnolo because it is the best."

Were CNC bicycles ever imported to the U.S.?
