I am just now building up some NOS wooden rims for the Frejus track. Nashbar, of all people, sold a made-for-them batch in the 90s. They were Italian built. At that time, I was in pretty close contact with Eric at Wheelsmith on the wooden rims project; to my knowledge it never got off the ground.... They even envisioned a wooden clincher. Was to be made in N Cal.
