I've been lurking here about 2 weeks now, posted a few things but tend to keep pretty quiet. To be honest I'm rather intimidated by some of the list members (but honoured at the company). I first got the classic lightweight bug in 1971 when my best friends Schwinn varsity got stolen and he replaced it with a campagnolo equipped Falcon. I have lusted after and been seeking a Zeileman frame since seeing one at McLean Cycle in McLean Va. After the owner died I believe that was the end of them being imported to the U.S. My current ride is a 1985 Trek 670, and a 1989 Serotta Nova Special. I've just bought my wife a 1976 Eisentraut courtesy of Sterling Peters. Now for the question, given the thread about the 1 year old Heron (built to list standard), would Serotta Frames be afforded the same grace (no not the carbon fibre or Ti frames nor the newfangled compact geometry)?
