Hello Wayne et. al. -

Yes, beginning in the early eighties color is a good (but not perfect) indicator of year for Treks. The Trek brochures show, for the Model 770: aqua in 1984, pink in 85 and your choice of yellow or the ever stylish white/pink fade in 86.
