Jay,

Sugar coating is for donuts. I just express my opinion the same way I talk. I do posses a certain amount of patience and on this list I have found that to be a very helpful trait.

Vintage frames are finite and there's no way to change that. As a collector one must accept that. Even though we might classify a modern classic creation as such in the same catagory as an older machine; they are still in fact apples and oranges. Perhaps if one thinks in terms of what might be considered "classic" 25 years from now we might have a better idea which bikes are considered that way now even though they are modern.

I feel our hobby will reach a stauts quo; but stagnate on account of no new bikes will probably not happen. The existing bikes will just get more valuable, our interest more intense.

I'm off to blind several cyclists with the WHITEST legs in the history of man. HOLY COW!
