Although the turnout was low morale was high as we all met up at listmember Peter Bridge's house where he and his wife Amy, and the dogs Maggie and "Fritz" treated James and I like old friends.

Peter showed off his collection that consisted of a well riden Eisentraut, an Alan made Guerciotti, a Merlin Titanium, and a very pretty Motobecane Grand Record that he rode. James was on his Trek and I rode my Holdsworth fixed gear.

It was nice and cool when we started and made our way through Brighton and up to Fort Lupton before heading back for roughly 50 miles. The pace was leisurely to brisk when Peter would step on the gas as James and I hung on for dear life:) Peter is stealthy!

Back at Peter's we cooled down and he even offered to feed us... He also showed off a cool collection of pictures featuring Bartali and Coppi, Smiling George Mount and Greg Lemond among others.

It is always fun getting together with others who share our passion for lugs and steel and the site of these beauties all being ridden together is a joy. Hope some of you other guys can make it next time! A special thanks to Peter and Amy for being such great hosts.
